Nutty-Butter Mug Cake Recipe


Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter

3 Tbsp. milk

1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

3 Tbsp. packed light brown sugar

1/4 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

2 Tbsp. chopped nuts, plus more for topping

Vanilla ice cream, for topping

Butterscotch sauce, for topping

Directions

👉 Put the butter in a big mug that can go in the microwave.

👉 Heat it for about 10 to 15 seconds until it melts.

👉 Then, add milk and vanilla, and mix everything with a fork until it's smooth.

👉 Next, add flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

👉 Stir it all together well so there are no lumps.

👉 Finally, add some nuts and mix them in.

👉 Microwave the mixture on high for 1 minute and 15 seconds to 1 minute and 30 seconds.

👉 Check if it's done by poking a toothpick in the middle; it should come out clean.

👉 Let it cool for 2 to 3 minutes, then put some ice cream, butterscotch sauce, and more nuts on top if you want.
